10/6/2022

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas (October 6, 2022) – Summit Utilities, Inc. (Summit) is celebrating National Customer Service Week, which runs from Monday, October 3 through Friday, October 7, 2022. Summit will celebrate the importance of providing quality customer service, as well as the Summit team members who serve and support customers daily.

“Customer Service Week is a great opportunity to thank our customers and show our ongoing commitment to providing them with clean, safe, affordable and reliable energy solutions,” said Fred Kirkwood, Senior Vice President & Chief Customer Experience Officer at Summit. “It also allows us to recognize our extraordinary team members for their continued dedication to service to our communities.”

National Customer Service Week occurs the first week of October. It was proclaimed a national event by the U.S. Congress in 1992. National Customer Service Week activities have far-reaching effects in October and throughout the year. There are two main purposes of National Customer Service Week – 1) it lets organizations recognize the job that their customer service professionals do 52 weeks a year and 2) it conveys the importance of customer service as a critical component in running a business or government entity.

Throughout the week, Summit will celebrate, in part, by spotlighting customer service team members on social media.
